Just a few days to go until the 2012 Belfast marathon and the classof76 relay team are ready for action again!
This year we are raising money for Cancer Research. To do so some of us are participating in three events: Belfast marathon on 7 May; Lisburn half marathon on 20 June; and the Great North Run on 16 September.
Our fund raising page is at: justgiving.com/classof76 and it's very easy to make a small donation.
Thanks for any consideration, every little bit helps! And big thanks to those who have contributed already.
Cancer Research is one of the world's leading charities dedicated to saving lives through research, continually discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. As well as world-class research, the charity provides timely relevant information for patients, health professionals and the public, and influences public policy to keep cancer at the top of the health agenda. (See: http://aboutus.cancerresearchuk.org/).
Donating with justgiving.com is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details will not be passed to anyone. Donations go directly to the charity and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation. It's the best way to donate... we raise more, whilst saving time and costs for the charity.
As I write we have a total of £616 already raised and hoping to exceed our target of £1500 before we finish all events.
