Yes, definitely life in the old dogs yet!

We all finished our race with respectable times, some the best on this Lisburn route ever. And that was on a searing hot evening when we expected to falter and struggle up and down those hills.

Many thanks to all who have supported with donations and the much appreciated moral support through messages and on the spot cheer.

Now setting our sights on early September and the Great North Run, the highlight of another running year and a chance to hit that target of £1500 for "Action for Children".

We'll be out with a few hundred others on Wednesday evening next week on the roads around Lisburn, continuing our drive to raise at least £1500 towards "Action for Children" this year.

Michael and I will be facing the challenge of one of the hardest half marathons around-far too many hills! Adrian is following on the 10K route. If you're about do look out for us in our bright orange and yellow running vests (see pictures below) and give us a cheer to help keep us going!

The start and finish of races is in front of Lisburn LeisurePlex, starting about 19:00 and finishing when we're done :-). If you're there do say hello or join in-the fun run would be a great starter to get (back) into running!
